In my opinion, i’m Not sure how this is really considered a sale. If you think about it, you are really just getting 5% off since they run 15% off sales pretty much every week, similar to Autogeek. And if they don’t have a sale, plenty of 15% off coupon codes floating around on the internet.

I used to be a huge fan of Adams, but after my run in with the Owner and also how I feel like they are turning into chemical guys with all the soaps, and useless junk, I have gone to other places.

They do make a great tire and rubber cleaner though.

Oh yeah??? What happened? Bummer. I have been branching out into other brands especially on the coatings side. Bought more at Autogeek lately than Adams.

I used to be a sole Adams guy for years. I always enjoyed the products mainly because they were simple to use, you didn’t have to overthink it, and had great results. Also enjoyed it because I could use the same product on any color vehicle or manufacturer and could achieve similar results on all. You didn’t have to think, just do.

Then Adams started branching out and I felt like they were trying to mimic Chemical Guys where they offered 10 different products and they were pretty much the same (car wash soaps, tire shines, etc). Don’t get me wrong, I have had great luck with some of the products, but it always frustrates me that it seemed that you had to buy A+B+C, where Adams was just A. Also, Adams was getting into not made in the USA products which is what originally enticed me to the product 10+ years ago. Yes they are accessories, but when I first started purchasing, that was something that the company strived for was USA made.

Once Dylan left the first time, I noticed the company changed its business practice. I heard rumors of some things happening behind the scenes, but never saw anything official so who knows. Also, Adams always just sold Chemicals and a couple T shirts back in the day. I received the email about the sale and was going through it this morning and started laughing on all the useless accessories (Sweatshirts, sweatpants, Carbon fiber wallet, a $90.00 blanket, etc.). Feel like they should spend more time on concentrating on chemicals than the new hat coming out. Yes, you have other companies that sell accessories, for example Griots Garage, but the big difference is that the Griots Garage accessories are actually quality and not knock off. Seems many of the Adams accessories are knock offs including the swirl killer, foam cannons, foam pads, etc. and yes, I have compared the Swirl Killer to my Rupes Bigfoot 2 and I can notice the difference. The Rupes cuts much faster than the Swirl Killer. Swirl Killer is nice, but can’t compare to the Rupes which is what it is based off of.

Just seems to me that the vision of Adams has changed and they are getting away from Detailing Products. Just my $0.02.

I have been purchasing some from Autogeek. So many manufacturers out now as well as many companies are following the A+B mentality, it all comes down to what you feel comfortable with. Based on your experience and info given, I think you understand where I am coming from.

I still buy multiple gallons of the tire and rubber cleaner, but buy it from other vendors before going through adams website. Again, just my $0.02. I get peeved when they have a sale that is 5% more than a weekly occurence they have every single day. I just don’t see enough of a significant savings. But, the customer service by his staff is top notch. Always was treated courteous by his staff from Ben, Dan, and Courtney. Don’t think you will find that level of customer service anywhere else. Just a hard decision to make on products when so many great companies are releasing fantastic products for anyone’s needs.

But, if you have been wanting to try a couple things from Adams, this is a good sale, mainly because of the free shipping at $60 to get a few things. Usually does not come down to that level thinking in the past.
