All I bought a snout cutter and will be pimping it ut when I'm done with it. I'm in central florida. Details after I'm ready to send it out

I am waiting on the account update too. Anyone have information regarding what diameter the snout gets cut to? It is a slow day at work and might design/make my own while I'm here at the shop.

 

It not diameter your looking to cut it back to clear.

 

So you cut everything off in front of that point? Since I'll be pressing out the shaft to change the snout gasket I might just throw the snout on the mill and hit it with a fly cutter. That'll make life much easier and WAY faster.

I had that issue. I emptied the cart and then signed off.

When I signed back on, and added the stuff to the cart, the updated pricing came up.

 

It’s very soft aluminum. I shaved mine down by hand in very little time

I imagine so, aluminum is easy to work with. Maybe I'll stick the air file to it. The reason I wanted the diameter was to shave it down while I wait for the pulley to get here and to put the supercharger back together (easier to clean while it's entirely torn apart). Found this picture on URD's website so I might try to use it as a reference as to how much to cut.

It’s crazy how many people are doing this now. I mean, it’s been around for over 5 years. Guess the easy pulley change is extra motive. Was it Jap from XRU that shaved the first TRD blower by hand @Torspd ?

 

Pretty sure it was. With the Quick Change set up, it's about as easy as changing a spring in a wastegate. Definitely an incentive in my opinion.
