Cab mount chop?

    Enlighten me....
    What do you guys think about the cab mount chop.
    My first concern would be structural strength. That aside my other concern would be rust in the future starting from that spot then working its way into the frame.
    Anything else im not considering?
    Just want to hear others 2 cents...

    mostly stock, grocery gettin' Prius
    After a CMC, you typically box in the cab mount to keep the structural integrity and then paint over it to stop it from rusting. No 2 cents. Just facts.
