    I guess swapping the output shaft is a lot of work, gotta take tranny out and open up to get the whole shaft out., new tail housing and different mount. I don't have the means to do that or the know how. And found a great deal on complete tranny with transfer case attached. Just depends what you find and have access to. Good luck!

    Yeah. That's what it seems like. Thr guy in the link I posted had a shop do it which I can't see as being economical. I think since I'm a 4cyl it might be hard to find the right transmission I'm looking for so I'm keeping that option open.
