Hey guys. I'm new to the forum. It's cool to see everybody's trucks. Partly due to reading info on this forum, I've decided to put Bilstein 5100 shocks on my 2001 Tacoma.

I was hoping you guys to help me out as to what different settings look like on these trucks, as well.

I'm not sure if I should go with 0.85 and stock rear, or 1.75 with an inch rear lift. I want the truck to look close to stock, and ride better off road.

    Thanks in advance

Wanting a stock stance and better ride quality means you want to keep it as close to stock ride height as possible. Little or no preload on the suspension components means softer ride at a lower height. I would suggest the .85 and stock rear.

The 5100's aren't going to offer much in the way of a smoother ride offroad as they are a relatively stiff valved unit. I'd suggest a set of adjustable coilovers by Radflo or King etc. Let them know you are looking for a softer valving at stock ride height. You'll be 10x's happier IMO.
