Ok so i installed the switch pro , but have nothing hooked up to it yet it has power and lights up. But now my fog lights have no power , fuse is good , Fog relay replaced it just in case . But i have no power at the wire connector plug for the fogs no other lights have any issue. I used add a fuse taps under dash fuse box for power to the switch pro unit , did not disconnect anything just pulled the fuse and put in the add a fuse tap. The fog fuse has power to both sides of fuse tested with test light. Could i have messed a ground connection for the fogs dont have any idea? HELP anyone! OEM fog connector i am running opt7 led fogs they have had no issue for about 2 years now could they be an issue?

Stupid question, but have you done the fog-light-any-time mod? Someone recently posed this same question and did not know that the fogs only turn on when the headlights are on. Just trying to eliminate the easiest solution first.

Did you use an add a fuse or a tap?

The add a fuse looks like the picture below. To use it you do have to replace the original fuse for the circuit you're tapping into and a second fuse for the new circuit you're creating. If you aren't using two fuses on it, that might explain why you're still reading a live wire, but no power.

A tap just splices into an existing wire and branches off creating a new, unfused lead like below:. Where the green wire is the new power lead taking power from the existing red wire.

I used the add a fuse and i do have both proper fuse's in place. So went over to Switch Pro's in Rancho Santa Margarita explained the issue and they helped me out ran a check of the wiring with a multi meter and found everything good from fog fuse and relay to the light switch all have power ,no power coming out of the fuse box to wire connector at the plug for the fog lights. So that narrows it down to the wiring out of fuse box to the fog light. Really nice people at Switch Pro thanks again for the help!

So now i am going to remove all the Switch Pro wiring and Opt7 LED's put everything back to original stock OEM take it to the dealer and see if they can figure it out! I dont have a wiring schematic for the lighting and dont even want to start taking apart the fuse box to find wire issue i still have a warranty so we will see what happens, just puts all my lighting and compressor mods on hold!

You aren't trying to put +12v through the OEM switch wire, to the fog light relay, are you?

This concerns me. I'm going through something similar. I thought perhaps it was that I've left the switches in the left cubby hole unplugged while waiting for my SDHQ mount.

Which did you use for the tap a fuse. I'm wondering if I've used the same ones. Ing-2 and taillights
