Bootleg canyon is awesome but the rocks there are the worst (and best) I've ever ridden on. Sharp and unrelenting if you go down. Riding anywhere in Southern Utah is the best. Just point and shoot any trail and you should be happy.

Maybe because Moab is like 100 miles from anywhere else?

Why not Moab? (As in why am I not moving there? I think that’s what you’re asking).
Well... the income check I get says I probably need to live where I work. Helluva commute.

Not too bad. (Saving map to gather all the starred locations).

My local maps look the same.

As requested. Dropped my shell off Wednesday and picked it up Saturday afternoon. Seriously guys, highly recommend Vision Auto. $600 for paint and repairing all the ships and cracks in the shell. I had quite a few. Color is spot on.shell2.jpg

Google Maps saves have provided some great location exploring over the years. Should probably d/l these at some point.

I love the product Pelfreybilt puts out. I wonder what's in store for '18?

No idea about '18s but have been trading emails with Mrs Satin Pelfrey about a sale item the past few hours on the eve of Thanksgiving.
Finally sent her a pie pic to hopefully distract her attention to home.
    Fantastic CS above and beyond!

The install was easier than I've read about. The body trimming was also a non event and left a seamless gap behind the bumper at all angles so there's no lack of coverage.

Yup, the old farmlands have changed. I moved here in 1990 looking for a quiet country life. I figured this area would be just like Dade City or San Antonio. Nope, all the darn developers swooped in and subdivided the old farm lands. Now I might as well be living in Brandon. At least I still have my acre, my truck, guns and a whole lot of ammo ;)

Damn. We may have crossed paths along the way. I first lived in WC 1991 then bought a house on San Ann 1992. I worked for Pasco SO for many years Dead City ZHills and LoL.

Reading your thread, and answers, with keen interest. My wife and I fell in love with the St. George area a couple of years ago and bought a residential lot in Ivins (St. George suburb) last year. We found a builder and architect and expect to break ground in February ('18) and have the home complete early Summer. We are aware, but not concerned, about the fact that we are not LDS and it has not been a problem with any of the folks we have met or worked with. We will be retiring from long full time careers (me in law enforcement and my wife as a Corporate sales executive) and are ready for the outdoor lifestyle that St. George has to offer. We are also ready for the friendly and accepting folks of St. George that we have met and look forward to making our neighbors and friends.

True story. Wife and I were having breakfast and "The Egg and I" - great place - and I went to the car to get a coat - we were eating outside and it was a little chilly - I came back and my wife had struck up a conversation with a recent transplant to St. George. Long story short - when we left we asked for the check the waitress told us that they guy we were talking to took care of if, "He said welcome to the neighborhood." Yeah, it's been that kind of place.

    We can't wait!!

We too fell in love with St George a few years ago.
