So a girl I work with wants to go shed hunt sometime. I suck at shed hunting and basically have ware out a few pairs a boots to find them every year.

Buuuut this girl happens to have property on one of the limited entry units around me and her place hasn't had any sort of hunting on it in YEARS.

It'll probably stocked full of sheds. I feel like if I go I'll end up feeling guilty about it all hahah.

New to the shed hunting game so I haven't even been through one pair, but I use the Nike sfb 8" in coyote. They've been with me through a deployment, 2 years at my job, and hundreds of miles looking for antlers. Still wearing them!

Best day of shed hunting yet:IMG_2492.jpg

Best set to date, 189" and change desert muley:

Found a nice set of Elk sheds on my property this year. One of the sheds was faded more than the other one from the sun. Gave them to my buddy for his fly shop. I'll try to get some picks.

depends on the animal but just the bleaching/cleaning is from $40-$300. Ive seen some moose euro mounts asking price for $2000. Just depends on condition...

Found this absolute tank this morning in some low desert where mass is not a prominent characteristic. Biggest circumference near the base is just shy of 8", and the H3 measurement is 5.5"! Talk about an old, heavy SOB!

I recently acquired 20+ acres in Southern Ohio, I think I just found a new hobby for my 5 year old and I to partake in.
Also i'm now looking at $200 boots, thanks A-holes lol.

Id say you should be able to find something on 20acres, depends on the surrounding area and if anyone else goes through there. Ive yet to find anything on my 8.83 hunting acres. I did find a small antler this spring close to our house which is on 5.5 acres
