    Afternoon Everyone !!!:hattip:

I'm still here just haven't been feeling good , This Flu bug strain either from the flu shot or from another sick Veteran breathing on me is kicking my ass hard

I've been coughing so hard my throat and chest hurts and even woke up the other nite drenched in sweat . As someone here mentioned said to seek a doctor for help . This I did the other day at the VA and what they found is bad upper chest cold . I told them what I was taking which is Nyquil Flu medicine and Musenix and they said to continue with the over the counter meds and keep hydrated and let it take its course

I always hate going to the VA about this time of year , there's so many sick Veterans breathing on you or coughing in your face

I've also said I'm going to get a flu shot there so I can safely walk down the hallways without fear of getting sick , that plan backfired bad !!!!

I've got the flu within days twice in the last few years at the VA around this time of year

Well, it's mid-day and I'm at the house. Tried to buy some steel for another project at work but they won't have any till Tuesday afternoon, so that'll wait till Wednesday.

Time to get the deep fryer pot out and get it cleaned up and ready for tomorrow. Looks like we'll just have 6 people tomorrow. So it should be pretty quiet. Thinking of other foods to deepfry for later. Going to throw in a couple packs of hotdogs, maybe a chicken or 2 after the turkey is done.

Be careful with it. It can turn fugly quick. @vssman has pneumonia and I had that creeping crud which turned into bronchitis fast and borderline pneumonia that lasted a full month.
For me, OTC stuff does nothing. You need some good shit to knock it out of your system.

So I'm sitting in the local lunch spot (think country store) and the middle schoolers get out early and completely "invade" my space (I don't mind)...one says "That is the best looking Taco I've ever seen" not knowing it is mine outside the window...his buddies proceed to try to one-up him with their knowledge (turns out 3 of the 4 of their Dads own Tacos!)...long story short I ended up talking with them and they knew their stuff, engines, Gens, mods and lifts...not just trash talk, actual honest to goodness details. There is hope for the next generation!

The first time I had this bad of flu which was 2015 and knowing I was breathed on by a very sick Vet at the VA . I made a appt with my general health doctor and like I mentioned previously they just told me to continue with OTC Meds

I've done pop-tarts. I'd have to find or figure out a batter.

Absolutely be careful! I got the results from yesterday's tests. Bacteria was coming back - white cell count is elevated so the newly prescribed round of antibiotics is needed.
