I'm buying a nice 2000 2WD 4Runner SR5 for my daughter, and would like to know if the shocks from my 2016 TRD OR will fit the 4Runner. I will probably upgrade the shocks on the Tacoma, and would like to swap the take-offs to the 4Runner... because I assume the 2000 shocks are at the end of their lifespan.

Well 2nd and 3rd gen suspension doesn't work on a 1st gen Tacoma so I highly doubt it would be any different on a 2000 T4R. I can't say for sure but I wouldn't count on it.
