yeah I agree. I might end up getting some angled a bit. I am not the biggest fan of the plated. I warned her that the steps were coming off, so hopefully she will get used to it. protection over looks. Like you said, i'd like to keep my truck looking nice, especially since it is also my daily driver. This year I plan on doing a lot more exploring in the truck. All it has done is take me to nice locations with my dirt bike in the bed. Always used my Dirt bike for that kind of stuff, but now that I have a daughter and she is going to be 2 next summer, I think it is time.

I tried the Dual Polymer yesterday, and I’ll wait a while before I say I truly approve the results. Black paint is always the harshest judge.

It hides very minor scratches without much elbow grease.

My only complaints so far is the cheap spraying action on the bottle and having to shake it up every time.

 

Okay Ive been stuck searching for a while but maybe someone here can help me. I'm trying to do the rear camera reroute and mount it to my HC bumper, only I can't seem to remember the name of these "wire secure tabs" that bend over the top of the wires you're trying to secure to. Its like a little tiny square and on one side it has doubled sided tape to stick to the surface of whatever, and on the other side theres a bendable tab that you fold on top of the wires that are being ran. Any help boys?

I saw those and they'll work. Not 100% the ones that I was looking for though, the ones that came with my BC6 camera were no shit just a tab that you bend over on top of the wires and it sits pretty low profile. Let me see if I can take a screen shot of the manual from it.. I'll probably just end up ordering those anyway

I'm wondering if anyone can answer this question quick. I just installed the codeable pop n lock tailgate lock the

$100 pl5400 black manual tailgate lock with bolt codeable technology for toyota tacoma

pl5400 I think it is. I don't want it coded to my ignition key, can I code this lock to a smaller key such as the one I used in.the locking center console mod. The ignition keys for vehicles are significantly longer than that lock key does that make a difference or will it still code correctly.

 

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! how did you attach to the two rear window hooks though? looks like it's going directly into where they bolt up? thats the only part i'm having trouble thinking to how to secure to those?

Just ordered a set of falken wildpeak at3w in 265/75 r16 from DTD on their black Friday sale.

Yeah it took me a while to figure it out too. I found out how to remove them, but one of them was stuck no matter how hard I tried. I found that if you take a butter knife, you can actually tuck the paracord between the hook and the roof in the crease/slot. I'll take some closer picture when I get home.
