Holy fuck. No way in hell I'd go wheeling during break in. LOL

That's quite a bit of metal for 30 miles. That sucks man. Obviously something in there isn't happy.

When you first regeared your truck im willing to bet you wheeled it without the front diff being broke in, unless you drove 500 miles on road in 4wd?
Breaking in is just heat treating the metal gears with heating/cooling cycles and developing a ware pattern in the gears, which is why some metal is expected but not as much as what i have. You can wheel it, you just can't do long highway drives without letting the diffs cool down.

Have you run it? Thats one of the trails on the top of my bucket list. Also really want to hit carnage canyon, chinaman gulch, holy cross etc.. in Colorado.

Early this year water was going over the hoods of rigs on 40s. Just a wee bit of runoff!

Even on "low" days 40's are still be swamped up in the water crossings haha from the videos i've seen I don't think its a breeze on 40's but interested to hear from someone who's run it

Thats not bad. How were the winch hills? You hit them or take any bypasses?

Hit winch hill 1 and winch Hill 2. All a breeze. Do NOT take the bypass on winchill 2. You will roll your rig

Oh okay, noted for winch hill 2 haha. Feel free to post up any pics of the winch trail. The best footage i've seen is from the wayalife video

Everyone makes out the winch hills to be super bad. You just gotta know how far you can go before flipping. Definitely know your flipping point before doing fordyce and get used to it. Every hill will feel like flipping but you won’t if you go the right way about it. My buddies truck doesn’t have an exo which makes it harder but we came out 2 times with not even a scratch. Having an exo makes it 10000% easier

Yeah Ill probably end up caging it, but if I do it'll be a hybrid cage. At least thats what im thinking now.

My vote is for the internal cage. Looks so much more clean then an exo.

It does but I like having the internal room more. Ill still have A/B/C pillar support internally, D pillar externally and have it tie into my rear bumper, also with a harness bar but ill keep my headroom and its less noise.
Basically like the cab portion of Brian Reynolds but for an SUV

I like the look better too on an LC too but an exos function is so much different.
