Gotcha, strange. Is it just the brake light or is the rear brake actually dragging? I've never had a bike with rear brake light but the pedal and master cylinder all look similar to normal dirt bikes

Would not buy it after it went from stock to one exhaust, then another exhaust, then back to stock. :luvya:

It drags a tiny bit. Because the rotor gets warm when i forget to upshift the brake pedal after using it.

But its not enough that i feel it when accelerating. I’m just getting more and more brake fade over time because the rotor gets really hot now under hard use.

I need to fix this issue. Get new galfer wave rotors and pads. And the zeta racing trigger black/red brake pedal

you probably need to pull off the pedal and clean the actual pivot.

That one article says the bolt going through the brake that it rides on could be bent too, so if it still sticks replace that next

check the deck surface to make sure its flat. i know cylinder works had some issues at some point, just saying that as a general precaution (no idea what brand yours is)

Got my rear brake issue figured out. Piston was full of dirt and would not retract at all anymore. So it was just clamping the rotor tighter and tighter with every pedal push. Also the pivot bolt worked its way loose and was only being held in by the cotter key. Torqued that bastard back down. Might replace it and its o-rings when I get the zeta brake pedal.

Half a can of brake clean later, sanded the pads with some 100grit to help remove some of the glazing. Put it all back together and then washed the bike by hand. Took it for a few laps around the neighborhood and bedded the pads back in. No more issues. Then i rode it to my dentist appt and made sure everything was still good

Then, rode a couple towns over, picked up my girlfriend and took her for my first ever two up ride on the street. It was 52 degrees with snow on the ground. The road salt is like riding on ball bearings  we had a blast.
