Happy Thanksgiving TacomaWorld!

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm sure we ALL have much to be grateful for.

So, let's post photos of the grub we're making and tell folks something we are thankful for this year.

I'll be oven roasting a 10lb Turkey for myself and flavoring it with a can of Madison River Brewing Salmon Fly Honey Rye. Going to have some mashed golden potatoes, fry up some green beans, and corn on the cob along with the turkey! Apple pie to finish things off.



Super grateful for my healthy, intelligent, sweet children. Grateful that my own childhood convinced me how important a father is to his children and convinced me to never abandon them.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I was helping my wife prepare dinner this morning, and it occurred to me how much I take having good food to eat for granted.

Many of my ancestors made the journey to this country because they were hungry and didn't have opportunity to change their fortunes.

This really is a wonderful world I am living in, beyond the wildest dreams of those that came before me.

Just saying.

 

So true. And yet people still starve in other parts of the world.

We are blessed.
