I have a 170lb plate bumper on my truck and want to get some new coils for it. I run 285s rn and dont rub so maintaining my hight i have now is a much but i only use the 5100s maxed out. Would OME 886 or 887 give me a overall better softer ride while giving me the lift i need. Its alittle stiff with the preloaded shocks and coils now. Thanks!

Maxed 5100s give 2.5 of lift . If you put on the 886s they will give you about 2.5 of lift with around 200 pounds up front . The 887s will sag some with that weight from what I've read . And when you go to the 886s you can set the Bilsteins to 0 , so even though the 886s are a stiffer ride they might be better than what youre used to with the maxed out 5100s.

Ive read alot of reviews of 886s riding super stiff even with 200+ lbs on the front. Thats why i was think 887s. Softer spring rate with alittle more hight. If need be toss 1/4" spacer on passenger side and a 1/2" on the drivers side.
