All... I'm trying to get some help on how exactly to remove the lower dash on a 2012+ Tacoma. I want to gain access to the the factory blanks in the middle (by the cigarette lighter) where Limiteds have heated seats. I'm trying to install an after market led lighter switch in one of the blanks. Also, does anyone have any suggestions on where I can tap in to so that the switch lights up with the dash lights? Do you know if you can tap in to the heated seat switch wiring? Thanks

I took that panel out of my 06 to replace it with the 12-15 panel. There's lots of pieces. It's not difficult. Just takes time. There's several write ups here. That one you found is the best I've seen.
