Like the title says would you for the same trim you have now? I currently have a TRD OR DCSB in super white.

Why am I coonsidering this? Well for oine I've had the diff leak, a misfire from the wire harness pcm on the frame, rear axle howl and now the HPFP is making a racket.

I am tossing the idea around on a 2015 I need advice...

Lock yourself in a closet and meditate on it for a while, then do what makes you happy. None of these clodhoppers here will be driving your truck!

I'm debating 2nd gen only because I don't want to deal with the electronics when I SAS, also the lack of low end on the 3.5 has me worried about turning won tons and 4d's.

...^^^... Try to "Lemon Law" it and get another Gen 3 ... make Toyota fix their problems.

FWIW ... I have had maybe a dozen Toyota pickups and my 2016 is one of the best ... just my experiences.

A good low mleage 2015 is gonna cost you 30-35k. There is no guarantee the 2015 will be problem free. Get a good long term warranty if you go that route.

    I wouldn't. You won't be happy.
Either trade it for a new third gen or wait and see what Ford and Jeep are offering next year in the mid size market.

No truck is perfect but going older would likely mean higher miles too. If they fixed what was wrong and can fix your current issues under warranty I would keep it and wait to see what the market has in a couple years

I'm sure it would look great but with all the transmission issues It sounds like asking for trouble.

That's a big part of why I went new, 12-15's were 30k or more and none were dclb or's.

No freaking way. Coming from jeeps, silverados and a 2nd gen. My 17 is the best of the lot by far and the most fun.

I would, I'm NEVER trading my second gen. I'm happy with it and wouldn't be if I traded for a 3rd gen. If anything I would just get a newer 2nd gen with low miles

That would be a 2015 TRD Pro I guess.
Those are nice looking trucks, but no thanks.

I'm sold on this engine. Drank that cool-aid and it was delicious.
