DCSB Off Road - No sunroof

The canucklehead SB TRD OR are all like this. I think we also get towing package, weatherproof floor mats, and mudflaps as standard options on TRD OR. It’s possibly the result of a secret trade deal we signed with the Japanese.

The colour matched bumpers seem to be hit and miss on the Canadian TRD OR. I see lots of chrome caps in town, but mine came colour matched, so who knows. I don’t have tech package or bumper radar, so my truck just got Silver Sky bumper caps at random I guess.

 

From what I've seen chrome caps on access cabs, painted on double.

 

The 16 sr5s did have an option to have those things. I think they called it the sonar and navigation package. It came with the upgraded entune that actually had GPS instead of the middle grade entune that used scoutgps by linking to a shitty app on your phone.

 

yeah the only thing I didnt want in the premium package was the JBL sound system (which I have come to enjoy) and the moon roof (which i still haven't come to enjoy)

 

Yup, all DCOR have painted caps while all ACOR have chrome caps in Canada.

Someone mentioned the heated seats. At level 3 they become really warm in 2 min. Will come in handy once it really gets cold up here!

 

Sorry for the long delay... Mystery solved. The truck did have a moon roof but no one on the sales team noticed it until I got there for the test drive and noticed it immediately. Good news is that I bought it. Thanks to everyone on the forum who answered questions. Also, I learned a huge amount from all of you by reading the different topics in the Gen3 section. Darn salespeople. When I was shopping I drove 45 minutes to a dealership just to test the head clearance with a moonroof. Got there, "we've got six double cabs, but none with a moonroof". Ok, whatever, I'm here so I might as well take one out for a drive. Hey sales guy, look up. That's a moonroof, it came with the tech/JBL in this truck...
