    Ok ,
I am going to pose a question about 12v wiring since a fair few of you do the same kind of stuff I do IE our own work lol.

    Background:
On the tractor I have a factory run 20 amp line to the back for factory work lights (incandescent near as I can guess) ignition controlled. Along with an ignition controlled factory run 15 amp line to a 12v acc plug for what I guess is cell, ipod or mag mount plug in rotator beacon. On the cover of which it states nor more then 120 watt out put. Now in my world barring anything else using that circuit which I will verify later, 120w/12v = 10 amps so not sure why it has the 15 amp fuse.

Everything I am going to install draws max 29.1 amp )leds have a negligible starting amp surge.

My thought is to use those two lines to feed my stuff 6 Circuits split up between them to allow for a 2 amp cushion. Since the lines are already relay controlled and fused I am going to just add a fuse before connecting the switches and loads . Thereby double fuse protection back to the factory fuse panel.

There is not a lot of room any where under the dash etc to put in a stand alone feed, breaker , fuse box and using their lines will keep my wiring runs shorter and easier then going from one end to the middle and back again.

So thoughts ? Other then to say you should always run stuff off relays and such :} these lines are already relay driven and I am not really concerned about doing damage to the electrical system the amount of load is less then other accessories I do not have would put on the alternator.

If I had to guess I'd say the existing wires are to run some kind of low volt/low amp actuator on a detachable implement. So, if you do not plan to expnd that platform then I'd also guess that most people in your position would probaly use the existing. But, if there is even the most remote possiility of expanding (even to rent such an implement), I'd run new wiring.

Hey kids, good news, my furnace died, no heat! Service guy just left. The heat exchanger has a crack, C02 is through the roof. We’re camping at home in November, yea baby. Good news is it is still under warranty. Bad news is , no heat for 4-5 days. Service guy will fix the unit mid next week. This will buy some time,2-3 years, I get to save for a new furnace, $3500.00. The unit is 18 years old, I installed it myself, with some help from guys in the trade. This Old House,FTW.

Pretty much nailed it. Although my mother after having a stroke and a bunch of other health issues is fond of saying Golden Years my ass they should be called the Rust Years. I'm starting to get some glimpses of what she means.

Tim I hope that they get her taken care of fast, and it is a short stay. In my thoughts.

Chit go figure got mine 2 days ago. Still reading the directions and looking at recipes on line. Picked up some Navy Beans today to go with that bone from the ham I made last weekend. Ham bone soup is first on my list.

Had a feeling I watched water boil for 20 years. I was called all types of things

Yeah thought I'd take a break. Why in the hell I thought someone working in a kitchen on Thanksgiving could do a decent job is now beyond me. Will not make that mistake again anytime soon.

So working on fixing it now.

Shot a bird up until it couldn't take anymore

Couple of hours more to go. I'm hungry and the smell is driving me crazy. Got to find something to snack on. That smoke is from dripping fat and butter, no wood smoke on.

Damn Jim that sucks, I can't like that. Went through that 2 years ago in January but it was the expansion tank for the boiler and it was in the twenties below. Water pipes froze and I froze. It sucks hope they get it done sooner than the estimate.
