O, I'm not talking about the tire rubbing. It's the new wheels rubbing on the calibers. I've already started the weight reduction on the fenders to get the tires to fit.

Ive got plenty of room for taller calibers but not wider. This is where they are rubbing. 20171124_194910.jpg

Procomp put this stupid ridge on there and it just barely scrapes the rotor. I'm think 1/4" spacers would give plenty of room for tundra calibers too

What's your view on grinding an 1/8 of the rotors? Screenshot_20171124-202644.jpg Screenshot_20171124-202650.jpg
I've came across a couple threads saying this. And thanks to Carter, if I fuck a caliber up I have his old ones as a spare.

CALIPERS! Don't grind your rotors, the only thing that would change is your ability to stop. That guy is talking about what Everett showed you vv

I meant to type calibers. Haha. Oops. I wouldn't grind the rotors.

I accidentally ground my calipers to far when I did mine. Brake fluid ended leaking through them... So I grabbed my welder and started welding and grinding until it stopped leaking haha. Still have the calipers on the truck today.

One of the most redneck things I've heard in a while. Haha that's awsome. But like I said. I've got a spare caliber

CaliPer. With a P. Caliper.

Seriously though... if the wheels won’t even clear Stock calipers, then I would return them. The tundra brakes are absolutely one of the best things you can do to these trucks. I think you’ll quickly realize why so many people run them when you put the big tires on. Makes a huge difference.

Plus, I wouldn’t start off with something that doesn’t work. Fix it now while you can. Or tell me to STFU. Either way, tires will be awesome. Can’t wait to see them.

Smart. You’re just going to fuck them up anyways. Skinny tires are horrible for protecting wheels.

When I watched a few guys at aop taking gashes out of thier nice alloy wheels, I knew I'd only run steel. Plus they are way cheaper.

Wow, I’ve been researching this very same tire...in a 35”. You really don’t hear much about them from Tacoma owners, but they look like very capable tires. Let me know what you think once you’ve gotten them out and gotten them dirty.

Yea, not a whole lot of reviews on these tires but the ones i found were all good. From what I've read Mickey Thompson bought out Dick Cepek and this is one of the new tires they rolled out. Supposed to be quite in the road without sacrificing off-road performance. They are very meaty so we'll see how quite they are. Once the bumper and tires are on, I want to go back to lbl one Saturday and see the improvement. I want another try at the mud hole Carter pulled me out of.
