We can get the tech package with the manual transmission but not the premium package with the JBL and such with a manual transmission. I'm trying to find a TRD OR DC SB MT with the tech and premium package.

The manuals have never come with JBL, push button start, or crawl control. We get clutch start cancel instead. The other 2 I can understand but I don't get why Toyota thinks that manual owners don't want a decent sound system. Not a huge issue to me as I have already upgraded all of the factory speakers fairly inexpensively with ones of equal quality if not better.

Ya, I agree about the stereo I guess there is a way to upgrade some components on the stereo to get better sound and still have the stock clean look of the factory unit. I don't know what the JBL was doing for the truck other than just different speakers? Just curious, what speakers did you go with? . I have no interest in crawl control or push button start. is the sun roof and heated seats and dual zone climate control still available with the manual? or are all those things part of the premium package?

I went with the Genuine Subaru H631SFJ101 Tweeter Kit because they are a drop in replacement. And then Front Door Speakers: Infinity REF-9622IX 6” x 9” Rear Door Speakers: Infinity Reference REF-6522ix 6-1/2".So they are not very expensive and there are many more high end options out there but for the price I am very happy with the sound. Plus I can always add a small amp and sub down the road if I feel inclined.

So the moonroof, heated seats and dual zone climate control is definitely available with the manual (I have them). And yes they are now part of the premium package. Formerly, the 2 packages were combined so you would get the tech (park assist, blind spot monitoring) combined with the premium options. Now they separate them out. The tech gives you TSS which is new for 2018, and the Premium gives you what you are looking for plus leather which is new to 2018 for the TRD models (except pro which came with black leather). For me the 2017 was the better option because I wasn't necessarily interested in TSS and much prefer cloth seats to leather. The fact that they are heated cloth seats is awesome and I use them frequently but I don't have to worry about my back sweating next summer. For some this isn't as much of an issue but for me it is. (TMI I know).

In 1981 I was making $18 an hour as a union Carpenter. On top of the salary I also received paid health insurance and paid vacation. I bought a brand new Ford F150 V8 4X4 back then out the door for $14,000.How many working carpenters can buy a brand new 4X4 truck today on just 3 months salary? It now takes a years salary for the average Carpenter to buy the same truck.

The median real wage for a Carpenter in 2017 is $19 an hour. The bottom 70% are paying more of their income for transportation.

Mean no offense but my TRD Sport will be here Dec4. Is that seat pattern standard? If so looks like some covers are in order.

The pricing on a pro in Canada is now a 15k upgrade on off road. Whoever pays that is fucking nuts

Been waiting for this too, nice!
Is the front of the radar surface exposed to open air, or did you put some clear plastic or something in front of the 2 holes in the grille insert? The 2018 emblem is smooth plastic and easy to clean, wondering if moths and such will get into those openings and mess with the sensitivity.
I remember seeing a post about a Tesla's cruise radar getting taken out by a giant hawk moth mashed into the sensor

    For a union carpenter? $19?
Fuck you guys have some shitty unions down there then. Licensed carpenter here in the Union is upwards of $36.
