It's steak (beef) fried like you'd fry chicken. Your assumption is actually pretty common.

speaking of "traditionalists" I fall into that category a lot. This weekend wife had a table at craft fair, and there was a lady with a table across from us that was selling honey. She had regular honey and then she had some honey with "essential oils" added. the flavors were orange and lavender...I didnt care for either nor did I try them. She also had some brownies with orange and some with mint. Seemed like the ladies liked the orange. I tried a small bite of the orange brownie but I wasnt a fan. I think I made the lady mad when I said I want honey without the foo foo stuff in it. ;) also I dont like brownies with orange flavor in it. I want a brownie to taste like chocolate! rant over...;)

But. But. Essential oils. They cure everything that ails you. Don’t you want to live forever?

many if not all the old people I see are miserable...all this extending life due to modern medicine doesnt mean its quality of life. While I dont want to die before 70 anything after that is not necessarily quality of life. IMO.

Anybody know of a decent grocery store corned beef brand? I've seen it in the bags, with the seasoning packet, but never bought one. Are they any good, worth buying?

not sure of the brand but they are decent. They seem to be quite salty so I typically will soak them for a few hours first.

    Another new recipe tonight.
Chicken/Mashed potato casserole. Always forget the before digging-in photo hahaha

Next time I will try a different veggie mix, wasn’t a fan of the cauliflower in this one.

What's all in there? I loved recipes that include mashed potatoes.

I made some breakfast tins for my wife this week so she doesn't have to worry about making something to eat in the AM. Pop one in the over for a few minutes to reheat and good to go. We take these things when we go hunting too so we don't have to think at 3am when its below freezing.
