I have a 2015 and the few months after work I turn the truck over and it fires and then just shuts down and you hear a large wheeze sounds as if the engine exhales. It’s happened intermittently and Toyota can’t replicate the issue so I may have to dive into this my self. I’m quite mechanicaly savy but this just seems to be an odd issue that many members are having. If the one member mentioned injector leaks that should be an easy fix as it’s simple to diagnose but for what seams to be an electrical issue I may just have to start simple with the battery disconnect and see if there’s a hidden code that’s not showing up and it potentially may be wiped after the reset.

 

I ordered a full set of Infinity as well. And 80 mil sound deadening which arrived yesterday (that box is heavy).

 

Did your truck shutoff by itself and give you that wheeze, or did it just make that sound after you turned the truck off? Mine never made any noises like that so I'm not sure what's going on. I also never had any codes show up when scanned or any dash lights. Curious to see what your issue is.

Easy bulb exchange? I had one go out and haven't researched yet for how difficult or easy it is to get them out.

 

I bought the Infiniti Primus 6x9 component system and Infiniti 6.5 component system for the rear doors. Running off a Sony deck. It's amazing how much better the truck sounds. Can't wait when I get the Alpine 5-channel amp for them. All Crutchfield. Better sounds await you.
