Just got back from my trip to St Louis. I was complaining about the constant shifting going west to St Louis. Yesterday and this morning I was headed East and the truck did beautiful. I got on Rt 70 and set the cruise at 71MPH and just let it run. Yes it needed to downshift on some long hills but nowhere what I experienced on the way out. With the speed and cruise set I averaged 24 miles to the gallon and I could not be happier with the performance.

    Pretty impressive MPG numbers.

Also good to know the truck behaved better. I'm slowly biding my time to get one eventually, and these tranny threads make me second guess.

I forget, what model do you have?
