I was gonna say Uwharrie, but they close Dec 18 I think, till April.

theres some stuff out west, hurricane creek, max patch. (I-40 almost to TN border) not awesome, but a nice ride through the woods. Horsepasture and jocasee gorge, I am not too familiar with that area, been once. Upstate SC / NC border'ish. North of Greeneville

My son is deploying to parts unknown again. He'll be in Charlotte area for a couple weeks prior to leaving. Once he's left, I'm hanging out with my grandson for a couple weeks. DIL is staying with her parents (in Charlotte) while Jay is away. Thought we'd do some camping and/or 4-wheeling.

What Jimbo said, plus there's trails in North GA, too. This is a pretty good map for finding some. It has forest service roads, OHV trails, camping spots, all kinds of stuff.

No, not anymore. Now that I'm living with my wife, she handles all the money and I just get a large allowance :) Before we lived in separate states because of the military, so we just managed our own finances then.

@Steelcutter I've got 6 of your friends chillin in my garage fridge, straight from Norfolk.

Honestly, I really dislike the EOTech, the hologram is far too fuzzy for my taste. Howver, I am a Trijicon slut and completely endorse them, nothing but superior quality.

But for my bolt actions, I use Weatherby and Nikon. I have never owned a Leupold, but I've heard nothing short of raves.

Not me so much as my SIL. She works out of MI but I'll see if she is taking new clients.

Hellos TW family happy freaking Monday! Anyone have a solution for my issue- when I hit the gas I can hear a static-like noise coming from the passenger speaker and when I let off the gas it stops. Doesn’t happen all the time but when it does it’s annoying. Any ideas?

Buzzing like that through the speaker could be a bad ground...but not sure if it could be something else in an OEM system. @Sandman614 is the SME in the electrical department AFAIK.

Possibly your alternator, does it change pitch with more or less gas?
