I wouldn't tell him to sell his MT for a yuppie soccer mom hauling SUV. :frusty: Maybe if you dont need a truck bed. I did and he probably did. Count how many new 4runners you see (just today) and how many have old middle aged wemon driving them. Just my observation. Also for the price I believe the MT Tacoma is a far better deal.

I love my skinnies!! Power is still very comparable to the 265/75s imo. City/Highway driving I'm getting 17MPG. Best MPG on road trips have been 20-22MPG which is almost impossible with 285s....that's me going 65-70mph and passing the slow people on the roads.

Honestly can't even tell the difference from P rated falkens to the E rated ST Maxx other than the 1MPG loss

    Hope this helps.

Thanks! That is great to hear. That 58-59 lb weight is what keeps giving me pause but doesn't seem to affect them too much...

I have the same truck sans the MT, the 6112/5160 improved the ride in all the right places but not crazy harsh. I gained approx 1.5 after settling with the camper shell and bed mat and Max Traxx. Also the stock leafs would sag quite a bit with the RTT on top of the camper with gear. The new springs handled the load much better imo.

    5100 rear w/ 1.5” toytec block.
I have canopy, and it sits close to level, very slight take. Budget, cost effective, and will still do work on and off-road.

    (Slightly stiffer than factory)

Pic shown w this setup^ on 265/75/16, same as 265/70/17
