Damn this thread! I've spent too much already on deals posted here and now you just hit me up, after Cyber Monday has already passed, for another $56 for two flashlights that I probably didn't need.

I was doing so good not spending any money this year for Black Friday/ cyber Monday. Had to order a couple of these. Already have one SureFire I carry on duty that I paid $150+ for a few years ago. Most people would say I have a problem and should seek help, but I say you can’t have too many good flashlights :anonymous:

I can never resist a great flashlight deal for a great flashlight even though I probably have 4 for every room now.

    and 48$ on ebay..

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Surefire-6...097498&hash=item1ed05aa1bc:g:k0YAAOSwr0dZzXuf

but at the sale price we still saved quite a bit of $ and I highly doubt you will see them that cheap any other time of year.

Still... why care? It seems I can buy a brighter light at half the price.

I completely see what your saying... For me a flashlight is something that is irreplaceable when camping, and something I use EVERY night while out in the sticks, so if I can get a top of the line one for ~30$ Im going to.

Heres some pros that the other flashlight you are referring to may or may not have that the surefire 6px does:

    Made in the USA
    Completely waterproof (not water resistant)
    Dual output

On top of that, after owning some other surefires, when you actually use it every day it is very easy to differentiate between this and a cheaper model... They are light while still being extremely durable is how I would sum it up vs Chinese knock offs which I also have plenty of.

Also yes you can get a brighter flashlight at half the cost but for me 300 lumens is more than enough in 99% of my uses.
