Cross posted to here also for more visibility.

I'mfairly positive the front four wheel drive actuator is the problem. I pulled it off today, but what do I do and look for next as far as cleaning and repairing? I read some people on here solder the contact leads together. Is it safe to scrub with soap? It was four bolts, two vacuum lines, and one relay wire to remove it off the front axle. I can't find a replacement actuator online for the life of me if it comes to that. I'm happyto post pictures tomorrow but it's dark right now. Thanks.

I fixed it by taking it further apart and spraying everything down with brake parts cleaner. Reinstalled and good to go. My four wheel drive light comes on now :)
