A bit ago my buddy was looking in the back of my truck as my wife was there. He kept pointing out and asking about things that he saw and at one point I asked him to stop if in case he asks about something that my wife didn't know about yet. Lol

 

SHIET! That's how I feel about EVERYTHING on my truck.

 

True. Funniest part was I said that to him right in front of her!

 

Maybe I got lucky with my wife. She tells me to go ahead and buy things for my truck. Last month I was so close to buying a Softopper and she was yelling at me to either buy it now, or stop looking at them. I decided to stop looking at them for the time being, going to revisit the topic in the Spring. But based on how she was, I see her having no issues.

 

As it should be.

Of course, I have no intentions of having shared bank accounts anyway. One combined one for shared house expenses, but that's it.

Oh that's funny, you just paid off your '15? I just paid off my '13!

 

I started car payments when I was 19. Kept trading cars in, never paying anything off. Had 3 car payments at one point. I've had my truck paid off for a few years now. Hoping to have several more years of no car payments.

 

Still making payments on an 05 lol

 

We have just joint accounts (checking and savings). Works fine for us, but everyone is different and I don't plan on telling you why it's good and you should (hypothetically) do it!

I also have a lot of friends that have their own accounts from their husband/wife and one combined for shared expenses, and that works for them.

Still paying off the '13 here, good on you RRG! I have a lot of equity in the truck, I should own it out right early next year. I'm looking forward to not having a truck payment. I dropped my student loan payment earlier this year also, so if I lose the truck payment also, I'll be in good shape!

 

Paid my'10 2 months ago. Time for Cupcake to get a new vehicle, thinking spring maybe

 

That's my problem, I'll have just paid it off and I'm getting the itch to trade it in for something new. I have my eye on a particular truck and all I'll say is, it's not a Ford...
