IMO Ko2 look the best, have an MT-looking sidewall and are apparently very mild mannered in terms of road noise.

However, the BIGGEST thing Duractras have going for them is WEIGHT, or lack theroff. They are several pounds lighter than any tire in their class, across the size range (based on my research).

The only drawback (from what I hear) is the difficulty keeping them balanced as they wear and the road noise they develop over time. They look pretty tough, but prefer KO2 from an aesthetics standpoint, even though Duratracs seem to be more capable from an off-roading standpoint.

I am going "BRO" and following the crowd and going with Ko2's. The look, adequate offroad performance and quiet street manners sold me. I know nothing about the Dick Cepek tires.

I wouldn't recommend the K02's based on past experience especially if you live in an area with heavy winters, I had them on two Ram 1500's for several winters and would never recommend them in the snow or even in mild rain. Also experienced poor mileage out of them 30k out of one set and 34k out of the other.

Also sounds like you live in a similar area, I'm from Boise Idaho and make trips out to La Grande frequently, the wildpeaks have been awesome so far, and they have dealt with snow in the mountains of eastern Oregon. (Mount Emily) Whereas the Ram's that I've driven over Mount Emily struggled with K02's.

Another advantage is that even the size that I got 265/75r16 are still within a few pounds of the stock tire weight.
