    Took advantage of the good weather today and built a cb antenna mount. Gotta read up and get the details about setting it up properly still. But at least the mount is built . Dont think it came out bad for a homemade deal. And the lift came in the mail today, pretty good day for the truck lol.

    I really appreciate that man, and its just a very old cobra that i somehow ended up with. I dont think i will be using it, it seems very basic. It might be fine though, i just really dont know much about CBs.

    I need some CB radio help some time if anyone is good. I have that midland radio that has the hide away power box and the mic with all the controls on it.

    It worked okay for a while but stopped working a couple years ago and I gave up on it. I think it needs to go back to the factory for a check up.

    I dont know much about the internals of radios, but i learned about tuning and installtion by myself when i did mine

    Maybe we can put together a CB tuning party. I picked up a NOS tuned 23 channel Kraco radio on eBay. I had an old 23 channel Pace in my old truck and that thing could talk. I could talk to a friend of mine in Morris when I was in Middlebury. Hopefully this one will have even more distance in it.

    yea i have the hood mounted antenna and the cable run inside to the center console so i just need to get a new radio (or current one fixed) and then make sure its tuned right.
