Our (armed) security addresses it right away. Compliance is quite high when assholes could get shot.

We need more of that in life. Wal-Mart would run out of bullets just in its own parking lot.

Typically dont, its not worth the hassle but sometimes my wife will get pissed about and say something. We went to get out of our truck once and some idiot slide right in barely letting us out and my wife spouted off, I was like great we are going to get in an altercation right before getting food. And the guys wife/gf next to us made him move...which was cool.

The chances of actually getting shot because of a bad parking job seem to be exactly zero.

I challenge anyone to find a parking lot that has more consistent asshole parking than Home Depot. I was running errands today and stopped at the depot. The starter in my Camaro decided it wanted to become 2 pieces so it sheared the housing off the nosecone. Frack. So while I'm waiting for the tow truck to arrive (2 1/2 hours later, fu very much) I record a few of the amazing parking jobs I observed.

3rd place - Compact car, two spaces? When there were dozens of empty ones all around? Sure, why the hell not.

    148BFEFA-63F8-489A-B7E3-05F5B0F1D25E.jpg

2nd place - it was a group effort. The assholery is abundant in this one. Those cars and trucks are parked in spaces clearly marked for trucks with trailers. Notice the white Chevy truck decided to make his own parking space. While there I saw several truck/trailers cruise up to park but couldn't because these illiterate idjits. Notice the silver car on the far right. It's parked on bright yellow lines that say No Parking. There are big signs on post right in front of the car that says No Parking, Tow Away, linked to other signs by a yellow chain. On the other side of that car is a blue Audi. Same No Parking markings PLUS this is the lane where the equipment that is being rented (think roto tillers) are rolled out of the store. Blocked by that car. This one was a strong contender for #1, but was edged out by the dumb fuk at #1.

1st place - Seriously. I sat there while this guy pulled in, got out, looked at his parking job then just walked away. No shortage of space, he could have pulled forward another 3 feet and been all the way into his space ( or pull forward into the next space, which was also available), but no, apparently this is acceptable to him. Dumb fuk!

I admit I am not in the best of moods, having sat there for 3 1/2 hours after having my car break down, but come on people! Damn.

And the offending high torque mini starter that decided to tear itself in two:

Eh, I can see that. As empty as the lot was, though, I guess I don't have as much sympathy.
