I was hooking up my parking brake wire for ,you pioneer radio, and hooked it to the positive on the main 12vlt power supply to the radio to bypass it and it didn' work....
So I hooked it to another positive on my wiring harness and now my radio will not come on what so ever....and it didn' blow the fuse.

Connecting to the parking brake, using a relay, micro bypass, or a switch are your options.

The radios Parking brake wire needs a negative trigger(not a positive).

Try powering the radio up by connecting the red and yellow wire to battery positive and the black wire to battery ground. If it powers up you should be good. I it doesn't power up you have a problem, hopefully its still under warranty.

I stripped mine back a little and JB welded it to the stereo chassis.

I assume youre talking about the wire that keeps you from watching a DVD unless you have the P brake on? Theres YouTube videos on it.
