I tried searching the forums but didn't find anything that specifically sounded like this weird problem. So, my 95 Tacoma can do low beams, flash high beams, but cannot do constant highs. As in, turn to low, good, pull forward for flash, good, push back to constant high, no good. Turn signals operate as expected.

Already I've checked the fuses and relay and they looked good, took apart the steering column to check out the switch on the combo stalk and the connectors looked good, I assume that it cannot be the bulbs themselves as the flash high works, right?

I worked on this today and thought I had it for sure if I pulled the switch from the steering column and cleaned/greased the connectors on the switch, but nope, not the issue. I've had other cars with switches like that that were brought back to life with a file and dielectric grease, not this time though. Anyone have a similar issue? I picked up the repair manual today, gonna pass over the truck with the multi this weekend or as soon as I have time.
