First one I've ever hit. Even growing up on Colorado mountain roads. Damn thing jumped over the barrier on I-10 and right in front of me. Never had a chance.

Doing 70 on 10. Not sure how much I was able to slow down before I hit it. Probably still 40 or 50.

That's what happened to me in '94. Fucking thing ran out into the highway outside Ozona, I was able to change my line (at 75 mph), and just as it looked as if we were clear he turned around and ran BACK in front of me. BOOM! Deersplosion.

I think they get depressed this time of year. Damn hipster emo deer can't take it.

Yeah, I made it in fine. Had to text the boss that I'd be late picking him up to carpool.

I've heard of deer actually getting across the road, then turning around and smashing into the side of vehicles. smh

In Big Bend I had a jack rabbit dart out in front of me, run clear to other side, then turned and ran back, then turned again. Kept zig-zagging, side to side while running in front of me. Finally picked a side and got out of the way.

Well in case some of you aren't looking the thread, my TWSS got me a couple of things. Need to order buttons so I can get it installed.

Oh nice, I've been trying to decide between getting one of those or going the switch-pros route

I really did think about the switch pro, but I am just going to do this along with add a couple in the spot but he gear shift. Like the charging station one, don't use it so will turn it on and bury it, and most likely take out the USB audio connection as that doesn't get used either.

That USB/Aux bay is useless. No one uses 1/8" aux and the USB is too low power to charge anything. I plan on swapping mine out too.

Hopefully. Just got some round Bajas that I had planned on replacing my fogs with so I'm leaning towards a CBI bumper since they have the round cutout.

Hey all, as I’m sure most of you have heard (especially those who frequent the Austin BS thread) Sunday Dec 10th is the last Austin Cars and Coffee event being held at the Oasis. We’re going out with a bang, and y’all are welcome to come join the lineup. I will also have some TW stickers for members who are still needing one, fresh from tcBob’s sticker factory.

Please stay tuned to the Austin BS thread as we get closer to the date, and I look forward to seeing the crowd!
