Bilstein 5100 at 2.5 inch OME dakars with the big overload removed 265/75/16 on stock wheels 290,000 miles and counting
2009 dcsb. Billies up front set at 2.75” OME Dakars out back. Stock wheels with 265/75/16 Falken wildpeak. I usually run 285’s but this time I want to keep the width a little narrower with the stock wheels to keep the tire off of the UCA. I realize it may sit a little high in the back but I can add some weight to bring it down and soften the Dakar ride some.

Photo for reference. Running stock with little 245/75/16

Will it work and look ok?

    Thanks

I would get a proper sized lift coil (885) and set the Billys to "zero" for better ride quality

Hey Dustin, Chads right, get 885's and 5100's and set the 5100's at 0. Put the AAL's in back along with 5100's and the ride will be much better and you will have a 2 1/2 inch lift.
I speak from experience. That's what I did at first and it is a solid option to run and the price is not too high.
In this picture I have full spring packs in the back to compensate for my shell so you will be a little lower in the back.

    an add the AAl's
It will look close to this:

Ok. lll see if it’s in the budget. I know they’re not too high. I already have the OME Dakar springs so that’s definitely going on the back.

What tire size FJ? Thats a great stance.

Those are stock 265/70/16. If you go up 2 1/2 and do a CMC you can put a bigger tire on if you want. Icon Alpha's (17's) BFG 285/70/17's
