I'd like to put a Roof Rack on my Off Road Double Cab. Has anyone purchased one from ebay? Any problems with fit? And if it actually fit a Double Cab who did you buy it from? I keep asking the question from eBay sellers but keep getting sketchy answers unless the answers come from Toyota Dealers. Maybe I need to learn to speak Mandarin. Any help would be appreciated. $300 for one is nuts!

Got mine for free, just have to be patient. They come across here from time to time for really cheap or even free. I have a Yakima system I'm willing to sell you for 150 but you would have to buy the universal Q-towers from Yakima so that takes the price back up to 275 ish.

    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
With your off-road I’d go with a heavier duty rack - and buying one from EBay may mean having to pay for return shipping to China if it doesn’t fit.

Good suggestions here getting local used ones, but since you off-road, save up and get a beefier one to support more gear like a Prinsu - type rack, there’s others for sale with TW vendors here too, and they are all domestic.
