    Hello,

Just replaced the spark plugs and while I was at it clean the MAF and throttle body. Truck will not roll over now. What did I do? All plugs gapped to .04. All coils connected properly. Help please.

    Odd.

Did you disconnect the battery? If yes, check those connections.

I did and they are reconnected properly. I also did the plugs one at a time nice and slow. I am not hearing the wine of the fuel pump when I switch the key to the on position..

I don't suppose you disconnected the injectors when you were getting to the plugs? or possibly disconnect a different item...go through and check all your electrical connections.

    Let's back up.

    Does the truck crank over?
Roll over and crank are the same thing.

Does the truck roll over (crank) but not run?

Holy shit... it started up but wtf.. it is sputtering and not running right. Could it be burning off the throttle body cleaner?

When battery is disconnected, the truck will always stall on the 1st start. After that, start it again so the computer can relearn operating parameters. It may run rough for a short amount of time.

ok drive went normal seems to be running fine. What I do notice is that upon starting and turning off the vehicle I no longer hear (what I think to be) the secondary air system.

You won't hear that on a warm engine. It's only used during cold start ups.

Some models had a re flash of the computer that forces the air pump to run at random times.

Im sure tomorrow, things will be normal.

Yup...If the truck thinks the CATS are warm it wont use the air injection system....oh the things we do for our precious atmosphere.

The fuel pump only energizes at key on, cranking position. Anything before, accessory, or key on engine off, will not make the pump work.

    For future reference.

This is the reason whenever I work on my truck, I only do one thing at a time, then test drive. Sure it take a while longer but beats trying to figure out which thing Could be causing a problem.
