The pictures don't do justice to the the second one (K90704). I think it's just a stock photo. I confirmed beforehand that both disconnects are greasable... that's why I went with the Moogs.

Installed OME leaf springs from Wheeler's OR on Friday night. If you end up doing this, buy the extended rear brake hose. Mine was taut after everything went back together. There's no parts store that stocks the rear hoses and the closest dealer that had it was in Washington. (I guess they never go bad?) We ended up stealing the brake hose off an '81 Yota pickup. It was about 2" longer than the one on my truck. I could have doubled up, but I didn't want to leave the other truck with an open brake line.

Well, it took them three tries to get me the correct front differential. I bought front and rear diffs with 4.56 gears and ARBs for my 2002, the first front diff they sent was for a second gen, and the next one had 4.88 gears in it. They eventually got it right, and I haven't had any problems with either diff, but it was a bit of a pain in the ass having my truck down for ~2 weeks. Luckily I was doing the install myself, if it had to sit at a shop for that long it would've been expensive.

So I finally made the jump to synthetic! 3/8" @ 100ft. Should be able to reach those more distant recovery points!
Trying to save some weight on the front end, but it also looks super clean now!

Also moved up my diff breather and tossed whatever was there before in the trash. Used my extra ARB filter I had floating around but did not use on my OBA install.
    Ready to ford some rivers!

re-tension my alternator and ac belts, no more squeals. Installed morimoto LEDs in my d2s projectors just to freakin pass inspection.

Helped my bro change out his idler pulleys, auto tensioner and alternator on his 2nd gen.

Just up into the camper for now, still thinking where I want to permanently put it. Just zipped to one of the side windows at the moment. But if I'm ever that deep I'll have other issues lol

Have had a terrible rattle in the back end of my Tacoma for a long time going over even light bumps.
Finally got someone to look underneath as I bounced the rear suspension.
It was a worn out bushing on one of my rear 5100s!
So I replaced them today and she rides so very nice!

    upload_2017-12-3_15-31-49.jpg

I got 150k on the original Bilsteins that I bought back in 2004.
While these will not bottom out before hitting the drive shaft stop they are subject to being overextended as I have quite
a bit of lift with the Deaver leaf springs in back.
I opted out of adding a strap back in 2004 because I never do reckless offroading, so they never suffered the worse.

Takes money to make stuff look nice and polished. If it was free I'd have my truck painted everytime it was scratched.

Finally got the goddamn front differential out! It's funny my friend and I muscled it for a good hour trying to get it out yesterday but it didn't budge. Today I tried @drr's method of rotating it forward and it dropped out instantly.

I was going get the rear locking diff but it was gone. I saw it on the counter of the cashier with a return tag on it. Must have been bad.

Decided to buy some studded snow tires 265/70/16 General Arctic. I have a strange feeling winter will be shit this year.

We had snow but it all melted. I figure the cost of tires are still cheaper than damage or damage that requires a claim. With any luck, it will be like buying a snowmobile, and it won't snow now that i've spent the money.
