No I actually found some and they are already installed, it is just the strip on the scoop too. I really like it and it was an easy install. Thank you for following up though.

Has anyone installed their hood scoop decal yet sold by CBoy808? Just wanted to see feedback on the install and pics. I should be receiving mine anytime soon and will share then.

 

Clean hood

soapy water in a spray bottle, apply to hood liberally (spray past the area you are applying to just for a safe buffer)

i recommend 2 people doing the install of the big part. peel and hold each corner of the vinyl to avoid it sticking together.

lay the vinyl on the soapy water and slide into place. then GENTLY press out the water with a CC/License, you dont want to try to get it all out at once, just small strokes from center to the edges.

blot the excess water with a MF towel and you should be good!

So I attempted to wrap the hood scoop originally today given the material from Cboy and wow what a pain in the butt. I just couldn't get it to fit right. It kept wrinkling up given that I have no experience with wrapping. I even tried the heat gun thing. I suggest plastidipping or taking it to a professional instead. Of course anyone who wants to take a stab at it Good luck. Good thing Cboy ended up giving me the other hood scoop decal and then I ended up just putting that on instead. Honestly the hood scoop itself and the big decal are pretty easy but I just have to say that Cboy was right that we should have had two people. I tried the big decal by myself and originally it buckled and stuck to itself. I was able to fix it though. I ended up adding one of my own touches what the pinstriping.
