I usually hunt a lot. Life caught up with me this year too (though no kids here), and I didn't get out much. Thankfully, as Montanans, we can run out and fill the freezer without venturing far from home.

    Congrats on your little trophies!

No, we headed up highway 12 past the Jack. Have used pattee in the past when we couldn't get away from town though.

No way that's the same tree in both pics, looks so much thicker in the truck!

Nice I do a bit of moto riding up that way. And yes you are correct two different trees haha. We snagged a tiny little guy for extra decoration, and then the big normal one.

I never go up there. Plus there's so much new stuff up there the last 5 years or so. Honestly couldn't say.

I avoid Big Sky. It's where the rich folk live.

There used to be a cool little local bar that served pizza and had a couple pool tables, was in town not on the mountain. Its been a while so not sure if it's even around, helpful I know!

Do yourself a favor, go to Discovery or Red lodge instead. I refuse to go to Big sky anymore. Over priced and lines.

Same crap down here in CO, I was spoiled in Montana. I don't think I ever waited in line other than Bigsky and Whitefish.

Oh come on. Red lodge has lines. Just..really short haha.

Go to the aspen highlands. Not a lot of lines there or crested butte. Better be a good skier though. Tons of sweet double black terrain.

Lol red lodge has longer lines at the toilet.

From what I have noticed here a black or double black diamond is not the same as other areas I have been. Maybe its just coincidence but they are really not difficult at all. Like not even backside or cliffs, just normal runs, maybe slightly steeper.
