    Picking out a Lab puppy and hoping it turns out to be a great dog is like picking out a winning lottery ticket.
    All about luck. I brought home a pup with field retriever lines who's mom & dad were nothing but family dogs
    who hung out at home. I named her Sierra and she turned out to be one of the best Labs I will ever own. I would
    put her retrieving and swimming skills against any Lab. Let Sierra's ashes go into the river she pretty much lived in.

    Next Lab pup I got from a kennel who focused on hunting and a little bit of show Labs. Probably the best looking Lab pup
    you could buy. I named her Lola and she won't retrieve crap. You throw a ball and she wants you to go grab it. :annoyed:
    I love her non the less cause she is perfect in her own weird way. It's tough having a Lab who doesn't realize she is a retriever.
    I always joke at least Lola has her good looks. :rofl:

    I have a friend with a Lola. She's still an awesome dog. What was hilarious was the first time she and Riley met. Riley is a machine. He loves to play ball. She'd chase him for like three strides then give up. Riley also doesn't wanna do much other than play ball--no time for girls :D
