    Molitor goes from "will he be back" to "manager of the year". Twins did WAY better than expected at my Royals expense . . . :facepalm:

    Not that he didn't deserve it but the Votto mvp surprised me.

    Royals did manage a couple more gold gloves though. Hosmer and Gordon . . . [sadly we will probably lose Hosmer but, with the big contract Gordon got, hopefully he will remember how to bat next year?] There are numerous behind the scenes efforts to raise enough money for Royals ownership to keep Hosmer and Moose. I will be surprised if they actually pull it off in our market?

    Yeah, you may be right, but I just ain't sure coming up with $100M to keep one player in this market is the right play? I've heard rumors of a $25Mx4 offer.

    You will have Hosmer at $25M/yr, Gordon's was like 13,16,20,20 so he is now up to $20M which he seriously needs to re-earn, and then the rest. Cain will cost at least what Gordon is making to keep though some think his age might cost him a few meg. So, you have 4 players costing nearly 1/2 their team budget. They might be able to do some butt end loaded tricks with the contracts to help? Just don't see Moose being around . . . sadly he's a BIG part of our personality which will be missed.
