Having just moved up to the Hi Desert 7 months ago from down the hill I'm still trying to adjust to this colder weather here . To be honest I much prefer the Hotter Summer months here with temps 110° plus

Might have to evacuate. The winds are driving the fires pretty hard

We're only seeing 12mph winds from the NNE in Hesperia and temps dropping , right now its 47°

What is wild about these Santa Ana winds here is in my area only 12 mph but near Andy the same winds are 60-70mph or stronger and warmer temps

I know I’m getting old but, I hate high wind. Fire danger, power outage, trees coming down, shit just flying around. Ok , rant over, carry on.

Hope it doesn't come your way. But if it does be safe, I know you will be smart pretty much goes without saying.

Cold. Going to take awhile to get used to this and should be wearing the long johns. Denial is over.

2 friends coming into town Friday night and was going to cook steaks for them but not now don't feel like freezing while I do it. Just noticed they said from 8-10 PM on Friday. WTH? I am usually whipped and in bed by 9-9:30 on Friday. They are both retired so must be something to that retired thing...

    40 mph gusts 20 sustained 9% humidity

Creek fire is closest to me 0% contained they evacuated about 2 miles west
Winds are not blowing it towards me.
Problem is with the wind, it carries embers and random houses go up.
