Looking for a thread here on 3rd Gen Lifted Tacoma, info and photos:

I have been kicking tires for a long time... finally decided on a Off-Road DCLB. Originally was committed to a 4Runner but after driving the Tacoma I was sold. I need the bed for all my camera gear and will be putting a cap on the back.

I can't seem to find a thread on lifts. I am stoked on factory ride and don't want to lose that by adding different suspension but talking to ToyTec they don't make a spacer for the 3rd gen. I was recommended the digressive style... After test driving the OR DCLB model I found myself not missing the 4Runner; no real body roll or nose dive and soaked up the bumps and potholes without fail.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who has experience of swapping out the stock suspension sharing their knowledge and experience.

Also- Any VA Tacoma Group or Mid-Atlantic Group? I'd like to meetup...

Welcome to TW! Tons of lift threads 'round these parts. Also come by the "Northern Virginia Roll Call" thread and say hi. :D

Thanks Boogie3478! Checked out your phenomenal rig!!! That is definitely inspiring. I will search for the NVRC thread next. You wrote there are lots of "Lift Threads" if you have a particular keyword search please let me know. I did all the normal searches but nothing comes up with a specific list of results. I have found some by clicking on members and their builds, but not for "lifts" specific.

I have a 2012 Sport DCLB with Old man Emu 885x coils and bilstein 5100 shocks all around. They have about 30000 miles on them and im looking to sell them pretty soon. All you would need is a add a leaf or block in the rear to level it out. This setup would be good for about 2 inches of lift. Im running 285/75/16 tires with very minimal rubbing. Im in the Hampton roads area if your interested. Check out my build thread for pics

I would recommend OME. It's what I put on my 17. Great ride from a brand that's been around for decades.

You're in NOVA?? Let me come install your lift!! I love doing it, and teaching as I go. I'm in Silver Spring, MD right over the border. I've installed quite a few lifts now.
