Traded in my FJ Cruiser for a 13 Tacoma Baja. Already enjoying the full 4 doors and lack of blind spots. Loved the FJ to death, but damn, some things were just a little out of place...like making an off road vehicle with the smallest gas tank in the world. Anyways, happy to be a part of the forum.

Welcome to TW! You could always grab some of these to help with the smaller gas tank: http://amzn.to/2jOTyvU

For sure, there are tons of aftermarket options for you; however, some of their design decisions were just questionable. Like the Suicide doors, why not make it a true 4 door? The amount of plastic around the pillars made massive blind spots. I enjoyed it, we took it to Ouray, CO had an absolute blast. But, I'm very happy to have a truck.

You'll miss your FJ lever transfer case. Switches suck.

Biggest screw up was the non removable hard top. [well that and no SFA.] The extra 40 ponies under the hood of the later FJ's were nice.

Glad to hear someone else had the same FJ experience.
Went back to a Tacoma after a year and a half.
Got an TRD Off road Tacoma but I still miss the FJ on the trail.

Oh I’ll miss the FJ for some stuff for sure, still a great rig....but, 4 door truck makes more sense most days.
