First Tacoma, and second Toyota

My first Toyota was a mid 80s Celica that I picked up for ~$100 to use as a beater. Got stolen out of my apartment complex parking lot a few months later. When the police found it a few days later, between the damage and tow bills it would have taken 3 times that just to get it back home, so off to the scrap yard it went.

First truck was a 93 Mazda B2200. Drove it all over the non-4x4 parts of Colorado for 20+ years and 240k+ miles. It still started on the first go when I drove up to the retirement ranch last week.

Picked up my first Tacoma last week. 2017 TRD OR 4x4 with AT in quicksand. It lasted 6 days before I started making (minor) mods ;-) Removed TRD OR 4x4 stickers and badges, and it looks much nicer. Shopping for a replacement grill insert. For some reason, chromed plastic just bugs the crap out of me. Next up, getting a base for a bed platform fabbed up, and a topper. Maybe some suspension and real bumpers down the road.

Been digging through a bunch of different Taco forums, and you guys seem like a most active, and very friendly group. Hope to be around for a while.
