Preferable wheel backspacing on 17x9 rim for 285s.

    So since what I've seen and read, 4.5 backspacing is perfect for 16x8 rims when squeezing 285s on. Would assuming 4.0 backspacing be preferable 17x9? Thoughts and experiences?

    Ya know... I really thought all these years that drinking didn't make me unable to do math, but its things like this that make great face palm moments. So to answer my own question. Probably something with a -12 to -15 offset would be preferable.
