Ordered from Motorfansclub on eBay on 21NOV2017 at 9:37 PM for $140 shipped.
Shipping was delayed due to the aforementioned "package size limit". The shipment had to be changed to HongKong Air Post. After that, it took a few days for the tracking to update, but once it started to update, it quickly changed from "Processed through Hong Kong blah blah blah" to Chicago ICS. It was in customs for only about 24 hours and then was on it's way to Indiana. The grille arrived at my door at about 4PM on 06DEC2017.

The box and packaging looked like lots of others' who have posted here.. the box: about 6"x20"x50". The box was in good condition when it arrived with only one puncture about the size of a pen. Inside the box, the grill was in a slim bubble wrap bag, with the tab-side backed by two large foam blocks (again, like others have posted). I'm not sure how the grill made it that far in such a good condition with such little packaging in the box...

The grille has no broken tabs. The outside edge of the grille has some small imperfections as shown in the pictures, but my guess that these edges would not be visible when mounted, was correct. There was also some plastic fringe around the edges of some of the grille detail, but these were easily pulled off by hand, scraped off by fingernail, or finessed with a metal file. If I must nitpick, there is a very VERY small/shallow scratch on the "O", and the lower left leg of the "A" is a bit deformed, but this is REALLY nitpicking and honestly - no one else will notice this.

I would say that this grille is a THREE-piece:
    1) The main body of the grille.
    2) The "TOYOTA" emblem that screws into the center (with 4 screws).
    3) The lower plate that screws in place of where some people have noted that the new TSS sensor may go (also 4 screws).

The grille pieces were all solid molded black plastic; no paint. The front of the Toyota letters are of course, silver plastic.

After reading other posts on this thread, I decided to preemptively hand-file down the lower 1/3 of the screw mounts for the TSS block plate area. I found during the install that this was definitely a good idea to do beforehand, as it wouldn't have mounted correctly if I had not filed them down before assembly.

Learning from others, I installed the grill following these steps:
    1) open hood
    2) use painter's tape to mask off surrounding areas to grille fascia, to avoid scratches when dismounting/mounting grille.
    3) remove two main philips screws
    4) remove two plastic fasteners
    5) pull the entire grille forward off the truck.
    6) take inside and place on carpeted floor
    7) remove 8 black screws holding factory TRD OR chrome grille bezel (these 8 small screws won't be reused)
    8) carefully release each tab of the stock grille, going around in a continuous circle.
    9) Lift factory chrome grille from fascia
    10) slowly work the faux pro grill into place, snapping tabs back in place slowly, in a circle pattern.
    11) back at the truck, line up the lower mounting tabs of the fascia with the receiving holes in the bumper.
    12) push entire grille back into place as one piece, feeling it snap into each area.
    13) re-install the plastic fasteners and philips head screws on top.
    14) remove painters tape
    15) enjoy enhancement of the black contrasting color, matching the other TRD OR black trim.

The install took about an hour total, including the filing, fringe trimming, etc....

You can't see any of the edges of the grill where there are small blemishes from the mold. There are no visible blemishes, especially after removing any of the plastic fringe in the grille pattern area. There is a small gap around the outer edge of the grille as some others have mentioned, but on the inferno color, it's really not noticeable.

Also, after removing the factory chrome grille, it's really of almost the exact same quality as he faux pro grille, and also has marks and a bit of an edge around the outside from where it must have been released from it's mold. The two, in my eyes, are really very similar in quality.

Time will tell if the faux pro grill will look good in the distant future, but for now it is definitely worth the price, and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Here are a few close-up photos of the back. It looks like black plastic to me, although the back shows a lot of spotting.

I'm a buyer when they get down to $50. I wonder if they're clearing out the painted ones for less in those listings?

Im going to revert this to the "yeti cup crazyness". When they first came out they were like 60 bucks. All the sudden walmart got ahold of them and boom 9 bucks. They were the same cups from same factory just different logos. But all worked the exact same.

Now we just need someone to come out with an affordable pro headlight set under 300 so we can all get-r-done....
