How many miles have you put on since install? I have dakars with the aal and lift shackles (temporary, I have new ome greasables waiting to be installed) and I just hit about 1200k since install and they've settled quite a bit, so much so that I'm thinking I'll have to lower the front some when I ditch the lift shackles. Also are you carrying a load in the back? I put a shit ton of extra weight in the back to help them settle.

We may not have rust problems in Arizona, but boy do we have a problem with flying gravel on the highway!

After finishing my headlight upgrade, I couldn't bear to put these filler pieces back on in this condition:

    IMG_20171202_134951552.jpg

I sanded them down to the bare metal, primed them, repainted them, and they're ready to go back into battle:

Throw some two-part automotive clear coat (can get it at Sherwin Williams) on them. Stuff is tough as nails.

Has all of Texas gone into red alert, sounding the sirens, all news broadcasting the "WINTER STORM ALERT" for the half inch of snow haha. I'm gonna go find news channel streams for Texas now this is usually hilarious.

I already went with Rustoleum automotive enamel. I'll remember your suggestion for the next project.

Got my 240v hooked up for my air compressor today. I love this goddamn sandblaster.

Before and After of a 'D' note Delco-Remy Cadillac horn.

Now I'll never run out of air!

    IMG_5183.jpg

    Sandblasting my front differential next.

Here are two front right differential mounting brackets side by side. Huge difference.
